Here for this couch I have created an abstract print inspired by goghs work and used it to upholster the couch.
Blue dominates the couch as it does in the painting blending hills into the sky. The little village lays at the base in the painting in browns, greys, and blues which are portrayed as small pigments in the print that I have created.
The contrast in styles plays on the natural versus the unnatural, dreams versus reality. Nature could even be attributed to the divine in this work.
The frame structure of the couch is made up of anodized steel and teak wood adding up to the stability of the couch. For cushioning, I used feather foam as well as soft foam for sheer comfort.
